Table 1 shows that the shorter the duration of possession, the more likely it is that a shot will be made. Similarly the longer the duration of possession, the less likely a shot or goal is. There were 272 (43.5%) shots taken from possessions of 4 s or less, and 72% of all shots resulted from possessions of 9 s or less. Altogether, 66% of goals were scored from moves of 9 s or less.
