ABSTRACT

When analysing the outcomes of shots, it was expected that successful teams scored more goals than unsuccessful teams, and this was the case. Table 3 shows that successful teams scored 29 goals (9.41%) and unsuccessful teams scored 12 goals (8.5%). There were no significant differences (P<0.05) found for the outcome of shots between successful and unsuccessful teams. Both sets of teams had approximately 50% of shots off target and roughly 25% saved.
