ABSTRACT
I will argue that these four dimensions are crucial not only to the development of effective social work and social policy academics but also to the practice of social work and social policy graduates in the field. In the following section, I discuss each dimension in depth and highlight where we have the opportunity to mirror the practice we espouse in the way we teach. I then go on to discuss strategies to support the development of the scholarship of learning and teaching.
