ABSTRACT

In process analysis, we set out to analyse a process that occurs commonly in our experience. We know that the outcome we seek is an analysis. In selfevaluation, we set out with the clear purpose of reaching a judgement of some aspect of our activity. We know that we seek a judgement. In critical incident analysis, we ask ourselves a less specific question, but we still know clearly that we hope to identify what, if anything, we are to take from an incident which seemed critical at the time.
