ABSTRACT

There is a general awareness in the world of education that integrated e-learning (IEL) is a strategic topic of paramount importance that needs to be addressed by faculty management. At the same time, however, it is unclear what exactly the advantages will be. The future is rather fuzzy. Electronic learning environments still have many limitations, and standardization issues remain unresolved. All in all, this has created an extremely uncertain atmosphere when it comes down to the basic questions: What? Why? and How? Nevertheless, IEL has to be managed and organized.
