Resource-based learning in the business environment

In this chapter we focus on a first year unit of study at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) designed to equip students with concepts and tools that they need to analyse the social and demographic environment of business and public sector organizations. Overall, our aim at SHU is to provide students with a rewarding, challenging and transparent learning experience. In pursuing this aim, resource-based learning has a pivotal role to play.
