ABSTRACT
Our aim for the intranet was to enhance the teaching and learning modes of the school by pulling together the many threads of information available to students in an electronic venue. Initially, we developed a pilot system to assess whether this technology was ‘desirable’ to both students and staff within the school. Response to the pilot was generally positive and we redeveloped the system, addressing the problems of the pilot, and the second version was released in September 2000.
