ABSTRACT
Ordinarily, the word ‘concern’ connotes the idea of such fundamental needs of man as food, shelter, security, etc., while the United Nations University, one of the authorities on the theme/topic of human concerns, recently categorized them in terms of peace, poverty, the economy, the environment, and appropriate technology (UNU 1989).
