ABSTRACT
There are aspects of therapeutic responsibility peculiar to naturopathic practice. Some of these will be identified and discussed with reference to the philosophical bases of ‘nature cure’, recently better described as ‘nature care’ (Muirhead, 1992). Some will be discussed with regard to specific dilemmas arising from practice. First, a brief outline of naturopathy is given for the reader who may be unfamiliar with the practice.
