ABSTRACT
Lesbians are practically invisible in all discussions of housing policy. Yet lesbians know that housing can be a big issue in their lives, and that they have limited options if they want to be open about their sexuality and near other ‘out’ lesbians for support. There has been little research into lesbians’ housing needs and choices, and such research as there is has been done on a small scale by committed groups of lesbians.
