Involving the whole staff in developing a maths curriculum

This is a deputy headteacher’s account of curriculum development work using an ‘action research’ project to support and monitor progress. It is worth noting the clear statement of values and aims, the use of evidence to reflect on development, and the valuing of staff colleagues as their involvement and participation was sought. This is a good example of the facilitation of whole-school development and of continuing professional reflection.
