ABSTRACT

Schools could score between zero and two points for communication of the policy to teaching staff, non-teaching staff, parents, pupils and governors. To score zero, the school would not have communicated with the relevant party about the policy at all; to score one the school had informed the relevant party that the policy existed or would have sent a copy to the relevant party. To score two the school must have provided each person with a copy of the policy and have made some attempt to draw attention to the policy or discuss the policy with that group of people, e.g. by holding a specific event, meeting or activity.
