ABSTRACT
At the University of Toronto the History of Economic Thought has always played, and continues to play, a significant part in the undergraduate programme and in recent years has expanded also at the graduate level. Eightyfive students (graduate and undergraduate) took the subject in 1972-3, which is approximately twice the number in the late 1960s.
