Hadad is known as ‘The Diva of Heavy Nopal’ because of her highly personal fusion of rock and Mexican popular music. She was a member

of the Divas company that presented Jesusa Rodriguez’s Donna Giovanni, her version of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and appeared at interna­ tional festivals with the group ‘Los Tarzanes’. Her solo work includes her homage to Lucha Reyes, La occisa... o Luz levantate y lucha (Light/ Luz Get Up and Fight/Lucha), Nostalgia arrabalera (Slum Memories), Del rancho a la ciudad (From the Farm to the City), Apocalipsis ranchera, Pecadora (Sinner) and the CD Corazon sangrante (Bleeding Heart).
