ABSTRACT
Hadad is known as ‘The Diva of Heavy Nopal’ because of her highly personal fusion of rock and Mexican popular music. She was a member
of the Divas company that presented Jesusa Rodriguez’s Donna Giovanni, her version of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and appeared at interna tional festivals with the group ‘Los Tarzanes’. Her solo work includes her homage to Lucha Reyes, La occisa... o Luz levantate y lucha (Light/ Luz Get Up and Fight/Lucha), Nostalgia arrabalera (Slum Memories), Del rancho a la ciudad (From the Farm to the City), Apocalipsis ranchera, Pecadora (Sinner) and the CD Corazon sangrante (Bleeding Heart).
