ABSTRACT
It is now accepted that all teachers need to have an understanding of the way in which Information Technology (IT) can enhance teaching and learning within their subject. Geography is a subject in which IT can make a genuine and worthwhile contribution and it is therefore even more important that geography teachers know how to harness the benefits of IT for their students. This chapter explores how teachers may put IT into practice.
