ABSTRACT
My intention is to test the two research hypotheses formulated in chapter 2 by empirical evidence. The results of empirical analysis provide a basis to estimate and predict prospects of democracy in single countries. The stronger the hypothesized relationship between political and explanatory variables is, the more accurate predictions on the prospects of democracy can be made.
