Much of this conference can be characterized as presenting a ‘top down’ view of the global trade picture. I would now like to offer a ‘bottoms up’ point of view, looking at things as they happen on the ground, based on my experience in a 44-year career in international business. I would also like to encourage inviting more business people to future PAFTAD conferences to provide additional dimension and scope to these deliberations and discussions.
