ABSTRACT
THIS ESSAY EXAMINES THE evolution of modern anti-Indian movements in North America, and the varied ways that Indian and Indian support movements have responded to them. It is written by an organizer with a background in Native support groups throughout the Upper Midwest with a perspective in support of treaty rights.
