ABSTRACT
For his followers and disciples, the charisma of a Sufi saint is an expression of his extraordinary uniqueness. For them he is, by his very nature, an utterly localized individual. The legends about his life objectify this uniqueness, weaving its circumstantial and specified detail into a complex fabric.
