ABSTRACT

As a matter of fact all ordinary business undertakings are subject to the control exercised by competition. The prices the farmer, the miller and the baker can charge are fixed within fairly close limits by the forces of supply and demand. The individual producer has little control over them. He has to sell at the market price, be that price profitable or unprofitable.
