ABSTRACT

In this chapter I aim to provide an introduction to, and an overview of, the issues, features, processes and implications of planning across the curriculum, which you are encouraged to consider by way of enquiry tasks. These will focus on wide ranging aspects of planning. As in all fields of educational enquiry, there are many sources of ideas and opinions, theories and models concerning planning. I make reference to some of these. An annotated reading list is provided at the end of the chapter.
