ABSTRACT
We welcomed the invitation to contribute to this book as an opportunity to reflect more systematically on a subject that is making a significant impact on our work and teaching practice. We were asked to focus on technology and learners’ concerns in postsecondary education. For us these days, this primarily means digital communications and computer-mediated teachinglearning. What follows is an extension of conversations we have had among ourselves and with other colleagues.
