ABSTRACT
This paper aims to elucidate some of the likely changes in creditworthiness of different entities as a result of EMU. It is split into two parts. The first part deals with the immediate impact of the introduction of the euro on creditworthiness. The second looks at changes in the economic environment which are likely to impact rated entities.
