ABSTRACT
Introduction The search for Quality Management methods which are appropriate in the service sector revolves around the key differences of a service from manufacturing:
• perishable: stocking to smooth demand not possible; • simultaneous: no time to correct any mistakes between creating the service
and the customer receiving it; • heterogeneous: each service must be tailored to the particular customer; • intangible: measurement of effectiveness is subjective.
