The tour guide explains: ‘Those are very expensive shoes because they have a special squiggle on the side. People on Earth are very happy to be given these shoes for Christmas because it makes them feel that they are better than people who have shoes without a squiggle on. The people who make the shoes with a squiggle on are not very happy because they have to work very hard.’
