ABSTRACT
In this chapter the difficulties in determining the relationship between the extent an organization has engaged in strategic management and organizational effectiveness will be explored. The evidence of the impact of strategic planning/management on organizational performance is examined, both from private and voluntary nonprofit sector perspectives.
