ABSTRACT
In order to regain spectator interest, the International Table Tennis Federation has made some rule changes such as restricting the use of two-sided rubber on the racket, changing the ball’s colour from white to yellow, and introducing some new regulations for service. These measures do not seem to have been effective in improving the attractiveness of table tennis to the spectators.
