ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the appraisal of investment properties for a variety of purposes excluding loan valuations, which are considered in Chapter 4. It is an overview of a subject which has been well documented elsewhere and references to these more detailed treatments are given in the text. In Brown (1991), there is a useful bibliography broken down under various topic headings relating to investment in property.
