ABSTRACT
Simulations for thermal analysis (the predictions of temperatures and energy use), airflow analysis and lighting design have developed oppor-tunistically with developers being responsible for the design of data storage, data input and data display functions of the software as well as the physical modelling. There has been little, if any, attempt to incorporate intelligence to resolve ‘what if’ questions.
