ABSTRACT
‘Mlendo ndiye adza n’kalumo kakuthwa’ … [a Chewa proverb meaning literally: ‘A visitor is the bringer of sharp razor blades’] … visitors or those new to a society are carriers and introducers of novel ideas, which may either be the solution to some vexing problems or phenomena, or may contribute very positively towards the search for solutions.
