ABSTRACT
Leisure Australia is arguably the largest management support organization in Australia catering for public leisure centres. Their senior managers believe that managing without performance indicators is much like driving without dashboard instruments, a known destination, arrival time or purpose for the journey It may be permissible, even recommended, for lazy Sunday driving but inexcusable if you’re managing a public leisure centre and wasting council resources, and possibly, disappointing customers.
