ABSTRACT
In reflecting on the content in this book, it is obvious that allied health has become a major contributor to health care in America. The field is continuing to advance as new technologies and a changing health care environment are creating new and emerging roles for these professionals. Although these accomplishments can be celebrated, a number of issues presented in this book should be addressed concerning allied health education and practice.
