ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will consider the insurance solutions1 available to businesses which have spent inordinate amounts of time and money acquiring intellectual property rights. For solutions to arise there needs to be a better understanding of the risks involved with intellectual property litigation. It is important, therefore, to consider briefly the worth of intellectual property to a business; the potential threats to it, jurisdictional issues and the insurance cover available.
