ABSTRACT
Note: Reg. 53(1) deals with general ventilation requirements for ‘every room’ and 53(2) specifi cally deals with kitchens and ‘other room(s) in which there may be steam or fumes’. It is considered that providing for good ventilation of sanitary accommodation comes within the requirement of ‘sound design’ (Reg. 57(1)).
