ABSTRACT
Graph 1, on which suitable gutter outlet sizes are also indicated, is based on fl ow capacities for level gutters with an outlet at one end. Example for pitched roof of 100m2 of effective roof area, with eaves gutter (actual-not plan). Size of outlet and rainwater pipe:- 90 mm (non-tapered nozzle). Size of eaves gutter:- the graph indicates that a 150 mm true half-round gutter will be suitable.
