Sundazed Records was founded by record-store manager Bob Irwin in Coxsackie, New York, in 1989 to reissue American pop and rock music from the 1960s, its first releases putting back into print recordings by the Knickerbockers and the Five Americans. Also working as a freelance reissue producer for Sony’s Legacy label, Irwin obtained access to Columbia Records’acts like Bob Dylan and the Byrds and reissued their work on vinyl for the first time in years.
