ABSTRACT
A German record made by Telefunkenplatte GmbH, Berlin, from the 1920s. Supraphon was its Czech subsidiary, Ultraphon its French affiliate. Polydor was the related American label in the early LP period, one of the group of 11 labels listed in the first Schwann catalog (1949). The first video/audio discs were demonstrated at the Telefunken building in Berlin on 24 June 1970. Teldec is the current name of the label.
