ABSTRACT
The tradename of Edison dictating cylinder machines, made by the Voicewriter Division of Thomas A. Edison, Inc. It succeeded the Ediphone, which succeeded the original Edison Business Phonograph. When Edison ceased all other record production on 1 Nov 1929, dictation cylinders were continued. Production went on after a merger in 1956 with McGraw Electric Co.
