ABSTRACT
American disc jockey and writer, known for his extensive research and publication in the field of recorded sound; born in Cheshire, Connecticut. Blacker wrote primarily for the journal Record Research, contributing regularly from 1955 to 1990. His column “Discoing In” was the outlet for much of his investigations.
