ABSTRACT

The title of this book is New Frontiers in HRD. For some researchers and practitioners, a discussion of ethics and integrity as a ‘new’ frontier may seem questionable. After all, a researcher might ask, ‘So, what new research needs to be undertaken, and how will this work contribute to theory-building?’ Practitioners might ask more down-to-earth questions, such as ‘What ethical issues might I encounter? And, if such dilemmas do occur, how will any of this theoretical and research work enhance my own practices? Bottom-line, what contribution will this make to learning and performance in my organization?’
