Modelled after the National Writing Project, ATRN adopted many of the Writing Project characteristics. ATRN believes in the knowledge of the practising professional and the importance of educators sharing that expertise. Like the National Writing Project, ATRN values the knowledge of teachers. Through the growth pains of the past nine years, the valuing of teachers’ knowledge has consistently been maintained.
