ABSTRACT
How does a school principal function as an intentionally practicing mentor to bring convergence from divergence and improve student and teacher relationships? In this chapter, I, an elementary school principal in a university laboratory school, share my reflections on the value of mentoring in the context of my professional life and service. I share how the role of the principal in a K-12 setting like my own provides a rich environment for creating mentoring opportunities.
