ABSTRACT
On the occasion of the IXth International Congress of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences, I address my colleagues in every corner of the globe with a call to action in the field of ethnographic film. Formulation, adoption, and support of a program of global film work cannot only affect the development of anthropology in the most positive ways, but also vastly benefit the human race.
