ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the voices and silences of a particular group of young indigenous Maori females from the land of Aotearoa/New Zealand.1
The young Maori females’ voices and silences contained within this chapter are based upon postgraduate research that I carried out with the “Youth First-Taking Kids’ Talk Seriously” New Zealand nationwide project.2
