ABSTRACT
This and the two chapters that follow all report on the introduction of Sport Education in physical education at key stage 3 (see Chapter 1) at Mountbatten School and Language College, in Romsey, Hampshire. To set the context in which Sport Education has been developed at Mountbatten in games (discussed below), gymnastics (discussed in Chapter 11) and athletics (discussed in Chapter 12), we begin with a general introduction to the school and physical education within it.
