ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to look at the development of the psychology of women over time in terms of three separate (albeit overlapping) questions represented by the three-sided mirror in its title:
Did an increasing number of women contributing research to psychology influence it in terms of theory and content?
What was the effect upon psychological paradigms when women and/or gender became the object of scrutiny?
How can feminism influence the theory and practice of psychology?
