Now that the Medvedev presidency is over, there is talk about the legacy of Dmitry Anatolevich, who was perceived by many to be more liberal than his partner in the ruling tandem, Vladimir Putin. One realm of policy that Medvedev embraced publically as his own was legal reform, an area of expertise for the former law professor.
