ABSTRACT
Demographic change can refer to change over time in a population’s growth or territorial distribution, or to change in the major components of population growth, especially fertility (the number of births per woman) and mortality (the risks of dying at a particular age) and to a lesser extent to migration (people moving from their place of usual residence).
