Trust at the Interface between the Third and Public Sectors

Recent developments in the United Kingdom (UK) and other countries have seen a change in the relationship between the public and the third sector (Anheier, 2005). The third sector has increasingly come to be a provider of public services, and the funding basis of that provision has moved from a traditional grants-funded mode to a contract-based mode (NCVO, 2006).
