ABSTRACT
Historically, the most important asset to a society at that time has oen been used to identify the age, the epoch or the era. e ages of bronze and iron, the revolutions of industry and science, the digital and knowledge societies are all such examples. Today we consider knowledge and the ability to use knowledge to be the most important assets to mankind, only challenged by the access to food, energy and raw materials.
